The Database of Baptisms for Dublin Parishes, the Database of Marriages for Dublin Parishes, and the Database of Burials for Dublin Parishes, compiled by the Dublin Heritage Group for Dublin City Public Libraries, have been incorporated into the Irish Genealogy website and form a significant portion of the total records available on that website. Sparky Booker is a final year PhD student in Trinity College Dublin. Her thesis explores the Gaelic and English societies of Counties Meath, Louth, Kildare and Dublin, otherwise known as the Pale. She is also a Irish Research Council for Humanities and Social Sciences Postgraduate Scholar. She has published an article on gaelicization and cultural exchange in late medieval Dublin in 'Medieval Dublin X'' edited by Seán Duffy (Four Courts Press, 2010). The subject of her lecture is Sir Christopher St. Lawrence the 7th Baron of Howth. This talk was part of Tales of Medieval Dublin: A series of monthly lunchtime lectures which took place during 2010 at the Wood Quay Venue, Civic Offices, Wood Quay. The series was presented by the Friends of Medieval Dublin and Dublin City Council.
