Maps of the Wide Street Commission 1758 - 1851

Dublin City Archives hold a collection of almost 900 manuscript maps documenting the city before, during and after the work of the commission. During 2011 30 Wide Street Commission Maps were conserved as part of the Wide Street Commission Map Conservation project, an initiative of Dublin City Library and Archive, which has been part-funded by the Heritage Council of Ireland. Dublin Civic Collection

Dublin City Archives contains records of the civic government of Dublin from 1171 to the late 20th century. These include records of Dublin City Council, Dublin Private Collections, The Irish Theatre Archive, the Royal Dublin Fusiliers Association Archive and Dublin Archaeolgical Archive.
